Recently, i've noticed that i've been staying home alot. Just want to get out and meet some nice girls.

Although I'm in a scientific/health-related field, I have this whole artistic side to me. I am really interested in photography, but I still consider myself a beginner. I love theater and watching dance performances (especially contemporary dance because to me, it is beauty set in motion). I also love movies that evoke some kind of emotional response in me (whether it be laughter or tears), or that have some moment of truth where you connect with a character or a situation and feel, "yes, it is exactly like that/I know exactly how that feels". I also enjoy movies that are visually creative (like "(500) Days of Summer" -- the Expectations vs. Reality sequence...love it!). I occasionally go swing dancing with some friends (I'm not very good, but I try...). I also like going to hear spoken word (there's an awesome place in West Hollywood that has this really urban feel to it...I love it).

Other random details about me: I make my own bookmarks, collect keychains, have a notebook where I've recorded every book I've read since 3rd grade, and I love red and orange squishy fruits (this includes strawberries, peaches, watermelon, grapefruit, oranges, and the like ;)

i would say that things are on the rocks at the moment. i'm working and all but not exactly how i'd imagine my life would be after college. so in other words i would summarize my life as "work in progress"

I have been practicing the martial art of Kendo for the past 20 years. I used to hate it as a kid, but it's not so bad now-a-days. I will admit that I have been skipping practice more than I should. maybe if my dojo didn't schedule their practice for friday nights it wouldn't conflict with my social life haha

Besides that i guess you would say i'm a very complicated person: there are different levels of me. Like different security or confidentiality levels in a top secret facility, with a Core power source i would name My Soul. But i'll explain why in a moment. The deeper and more underground to the lower levels, the inner caverns, you are permitted to penetrate --under my skin-- depends on your "security clearance". On what level of myself you are permitted to enter. In other words, the "clearance"is your proof that you'll protect my security (emotional security). And that security clearance is,in reality, called: Trust. It's really very hard for me to truly trust people all the way because...
I'm a very vulnerable person, underneath it all, who feels things so profoundly, so deeply... So intensely. I totally understand that there are others who are not or who are varied or who are different in their own way. But I feel sometimes so different, almost too alien than other people. So much more alien than other people (except for God), that I fear that I'll be misunderstood or hurt or give the wrong impression. So I feel the need to play Kabuki theatre, maybe (i said maybe) wear a mask, (like a smile, like as if to say "Buck up, kiddo" to myself) to be more approachable and fit in. More descriptively...
I appear bubbly and effervescent, maybe even to the point of superficiality, to some --but I'm not. I'm truly not. I suppose I say I can compare myself best to Coca-Cola: looks light and bubbly at the top; but more darker and a bit murky, though definitely still sweet, underneath. It has had a bit of a toxic history before (hello, cocaine!) but is now available and enjoyable, to the public, by all ages. That's me.=) And for that most part I love people and animals and nature, and personalities of all kinds and backgrounds and walks-of-life in general. I am an open, loving, peace-positive person. So yeah, that's it. =)
Another thing I should mention is that I am bipolar. I have Bipolar Disorder (or Manic-Depression). I was diagnosed in 2000 (yeah, just about the turn of the millenia. Congrats to me!) at the age of 17. Some may say how do you know for sure or maybe you have been misdiagnosed. I can understand the many questions and points of view people have on the topic, and I have taken it into considerable thought (along with the aid of my doctors). But I know and... I am. It took me a long while and an ongoing transforming, regenerative, and resurrecting path, a journey, to understand and accept it, fully. But it's who I am. It's become a part of me. I used to think about and wonder how much of myself, my personality, the one I have now, is part of my condition and how much is part of what was there, or who I was, before. It was a very sad and painful length. Now I rarely do that... I have accepted it and embraced it. Actually, I have accepted and embraced... her. I have embraced, intermingled, fused with her. Now I hold her hand and understand "she", my condition, is a part of my personality. (Besides, right now, there's no cure, so no use complaining right?). I treat and manage it medically, so besides having a very dramatic, eccentric, and vivid (some may even say "flamboyant," ha, ha, ha), but very humorous personality (combined with occasional brooding), I try to keep a balanced equilibrium. I guess the only thing left to say is I have a penchant for the fabulous, the luxuriant (though, not necessarily expensive!), the absurd, the wacky, the most expressive, the creative, the sparkly, the artistic, the unexpected, the glamorous, the unheard of, the subversive, the little known, the genuine, and the authentic. Oh, and the unique... But you probably already knew that...

i don't know really how to start. theres is to much to say about one person. i feel as if words don't really do justice when it comes to explaining oneself. you would have to see me, talk to me, be around me to totally get a sense of who i am. even then, there is still a lot more about me, about anyone that we will never discover. but i guess you can i say i am a guy who loves to live life, loves to laugh, and loves to love.

I was born and raised in LA. I love this place. I like to do all kinds of things. Not much for labels. I am very comfortable in my own skin. I enjoy painting, baking, bike riding, camping, watching movies, cuddling and just enjoying everything that life has to offer. I'm constantly changing and embrace the challenges that tomorrow has. I like to laugh and be silly at times. I like to be a tourist in my own city and explore. I am a very hands on type of guy. I like to create things and learning how they work. I'm kinda geeky and shy at first but as you get to know me I light up. I have had a great life and plan to keep it that way. I'm down to earth but not boring and am sweet to the core. I'm always looking for new friends.

I hate writing these things, mostly because I don't go around randomly talking myself up.

My family drives me nuts, but are also extremely important to me. I actually personally know around 300 of my cousins...though we really only see each other at weddings and funerals. I get along with my brothers and at least one of my sisters, though we can't all be in one room for too long.

I'm horrible at grammar and spelling. Love going out and having fun or staying in and hanging out with friends, it just depends on what is going on. Hate clubs, don't really hit bars, but I hit a pub every once in a while. My life is full and quite busy, so most of the time I just need someone to tell me to slow down, and is willing to sit there and make me do it...though I don't always listen... but we don't have to just sit...I mean there is a perfectly good pool table in the garage!

I have lots of god-children or rather that is the easiest way to describe my relationship with them, and when the chaos of my world is driving me insane there is nothing like the distraction of children.

I am not the easiest person but I love meeting new people and share thoughts and ideas.
