St. Anthony School Reviews

I have had the pleasure of experiencing St. Anthony school for the past ten years. My oldest daughter graduated from st. Anthony 2 years ago, and I was skeptical about the academics. I was very satisfied and she fit right in at Ramona Convent. I know that teachers are doing a good job with the resources they have. In terms of atmosphere, I have to say it is the only place where I would want my kids to be. The school community is really a family, everyone watches out for each other. It does take a village to raise a child and I have found that in St. Anthony.

I am an alumni with 2 nephews & 1 niece going there. This is a great school near a good location and good teaching & education setup for the students. This school works hard to keep the teachers, parents and students working as one team and participation in the helping out at the school is a fair process. My family is 2 generations of schooling there and we have never had any mishaps or problems. We are still active with the shool and hope for good things to continue in the future.

I am a former parent who recently had my child graduate from the school and go on to Ramona Convent Secondary School with Honors. St. Anthony's academic program and staff prepared her for the challenges that she will encounter in high school. I am truly grateful for the outstanding program at St. Anthony School.

I am a former parent of St. Anthonys and I really liked the school I even have a daughter that graduated and now attends university. The school has had so many changes in principals that I pulled my daughter out this year. school environment is wonderful and nurturing but they need new and younger teachers. We wish them the best. I think my daughter will have a better chance at a public school education wise any way.

My daughter has been to St Anthony since Pre School. She loves it. Now, she is in 4th grade. I like the school however, I think the teachers have been there a long time & need to be replaced with younger and more enthusiasm. My son is now in Pre School, I like it very much, the teachers are very good to him except maybe one teacher that he had mention that is not so friendly and fun compare to the other teachers. Next year, my son will be in Kindergarden, the teacher is new. My daughter went through Kingergarden with another teacher and we liked her very much.

My child started attending in kindergarten & is now in the the 8th grade. I have found private school to be a big disappointment. The only thing that I liked about being there was the security, the sense that my kid was safe. The academics is not great & the teachers have been there a long time & need to be replaced with some that have some enthusiasm. I believe this is the biggest mistake I have made and unfortunately, we got stuck in it and it was hard to get my child out once she was in. It's a very small community & the kids become used to that environment. I plan on sending my child to public high school in hopes of a better education.

i have been at this school since preschool n it's great. even thought i left that school when i was in sixth grade, they've taught me a lot of stuff that i can use throughout my life. they taught me how to have good manners and every good thing. the best part is that they taught me about God. the good things that He did makes me a nice person. if my parents didn't send me to that school i'd probably won't be what i am today. so i really recommend you to send your child to this school.

School has one class per grade. Average class size is 25-35 students. Provides great religious studies. Level of parent involvement is low. Extracurricular activities include music (handbells, honor choir, children's choir, and plays/talent shows) and sports (football, basketball, track, volleyball).
